Eight Principles of Privacy

Getting to know you
We ask for information about you in 3 areas of our website for Compliments Experiences,
a) When purchasing an experience online
Here the information we will ask you for includes your name, contact details such as phone and e mail, and credit card details. We need all this information to process your order and so that we can contact you if we need more information or have any queries about your order. This information will not be given to any third party, except to the extent and for the purpose we may be required to do so by any law.
b) When requesting a Compliments Experiences brochure online
We need your name and address so we can send you the brochure. If you have given your consent, you may be contacted with relevant promotions, offers or information that you have expressed an interest in or that might be of interest to you.
c) When signing up for e-mail updates
This information will not be given to any third party, except to the extent and for the purpose we may be required to do so by any law.
We'll only use your data when you have given us permission to do so. When you register, we'll clearly state:
"We may from time to time send you information about our products and services and those offered by other companies in the Acorne Group; details of our special offers or promotions; and any other advertising or marketing materials that we think might interest you. If you would like to be contacted by us please tick the box below."
Why we're interested
We may wish to contact you from time to time with details of special offers, promotions, competitions, and information about our products and services. If you want all of this, please tick the box when registering with us. We won't use your details for direct marketing without your consent.
Third parties and/or other Acorne Group companies may also wish to contact you from time to time with information they believe may be of interest to you. If you wish to receive such communications then please tick the box when registering with us.
You always have the right to object, at any time, to your personal data being used for direct marketing purposes by us or by third parties and other Acorne Group companies. Just let us know.
Your personal information
Your personal information will not be transferred to other Acorne Group companies without your consent, except:

If you give us your consent by ticking the box when you register with us, then we may share your personal data with other Acorne Group companies so that they may contact you with any information they believe may be of interest to you. Or, we may send you details of goods, services, promotions and offers provided by other Acorne Group companies which we think may interest you.
We may use your personal data in order to analyse our customer base, and statistical information may be shared with third parties and other Acorne Group companies - but we'll keep it anonymous.

You should write to us on at the above address, enclosing proof of identity such as a copy of your passport or driving license, requesting access to your personal information. You may have to pay a small administrative fee. You are entitled to be told by us within 40 days of a valid written request, whether we or someone else on our behalf is processing your personal information; what personal information we hold on you; together with details of the purposes for the processing and details of any third party to whom your personal information has been disclosed.
