Your experience begins with a guided tour of the distillery, where you’ll experience how Blair Athol’s single malt is made. Newfound knowledge at the ready, you’ll be invited into the private tasting room for a tasting experience with a senior guide. You can enjoy six tastings, including the Blair Athol 12-year-old, Blair Athol Distillery Exclusive Bottling and Cask strength drawn straight from the cask and only available to sample at the distillery.
You’ll receive a certificate of completion to take home, proving your worth as a whisky connoisseur!

Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of issue, while government restrictions apply in relation to Covid-19 we are offering free extensions on all experiences so you can take your experience when the time is right.
What happens on the day?
On arrival at Blair Athol Distillery in Perthshire, you’ll be greeted and kick your experience off with a guided tour of the distillery.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a tasting experience with a senior guide in a private tasting room. Sample delicious whiskies drawn straight from the cask, only available to sample at the distillery, before taking home a certificate of completion.
- Minimum age: 18
- Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access on parts of the tour but it is possible for wheelchair users to take part in the tasting
- Blair Athol reserves the right to deny anyone a tour if they are in a state unable to partake in the tour safely
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
The experience can be booked seven days a week throughout the year. Exclusions including 25 December and 1 January will apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 2 hours 30 minutes for the full experience. Please arrive promptly as latecomers will not be guaranteed access to the tour.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
